Christmas Eve 2019
at Dacula UMC
All are welcome!
Please join us and celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
 
4:00 p.m. Contemporary Service
This service is designed with children in mind.
 
6:00 & 8:00 p.m. Traditional Service
These services are both candlelight services.
 
Nursery care is available during all of our Christmas Eve Services. 
 


Men’s Ministry Mission Trip

January 22-26th
Mountain Top Campground in Altamont, TN
Cost: approximately $100 (contingent upon the number of men attending)
All men of the church are invited!
 
Projects we’ll be working on while there:
  • installing new flooring in the main staff office
  • renovating and weatherizing one of the summer staff offices
  • building a large roof over the concrete slab next to the warehouse to keep materials dry
No skill is needed to participate in this mission!
 
There will be lots of great food, fellowship, laughter, and discussion!

All are welcome to join us for our Angel Choir’s performance of Christmas Treasures, as they explore the importance of traditions and the story of Christmas night.  They will share the excitement of the season through traditional songs that will have you ready for the Christmas season!

Women’s Annual Christmas Banquet

All ladies, ages 5 and up are invited!

Menu: Pasta Buffet
This year’s program is “Mary and the Christmas Angels” by Teressa Gaffney
which brings Mary’s story to life through song and narration.

A Night of Worship

in the Sanctuary at DUMC
All are Welcome!
Invite someone to come with you, and help us spread the word.
 
If you love to worship and love music, this night is custom made for you.  Join us for an hour of music worship followed by 30 minutes of coffee and dessert.  This will be the first in a series of six that we will host over the next 12 months.  Come ready to worship; it will change your life!

Trunk O’ Treat 2019

Don’t miss the annual Trunk O’ Treat at Dacula UMC.  Join us for a free hot dog dinner, candy, trunk decorating contest, giveaways for the kids and more CANDY!  Everyone is welcome!  Bring your friends, neighbors, and relatives.  Help us “Save the Teeth!”  We will be collecting toothbrushes and toothpaste at the event to support the Lawrenceville Co-Op.  Hope to see your there!

Women’s Fall Retreat

Saturday, September 28th
at Carleen Webb’s lake house on Lake Hartwell.
All women of the church are invited.
Cost: $6 to cover lunch and project materials.
Meet at 9:30 a.m. at DUMC to carpool/caravan to Hartwell together.
We will have pizza for lunch and will stop at Gumlog Bar-b-que and Fish Camp for dinner on our way home.  We will be home before dark.
Nancy Dietz will present “Pieces of Our Life” at our retreat.  We will talk about what pieces our lives are made of and learn about the meaning of different quilts.
We will make heart pillows for cancer patients and another fun project to take home.
Join us in fellowship and get to know the members of WINGS.  Hope to see you there!
