DUMC’s Chancel Choir presents The Song Heard ‘Round the World, a journey of international carols and folk songs and scripture that when woven together, help share the Christmas story. With selections for Advent, Christmas, and Epiphany, the anticipation, incarnation, and proclamation of Christ’s birth is presented. Each movement is from a different nation, filling the work with a tapestry of musical diversity. The them on the 2nd week of Advent will be unity and peace on Earth.
